Thinking-skills practice that grows with your child

Short daily practice for curious kids. Free to play, with an optional parent account that saves progress per child.

  • Adaptive difficulty for each child

Five levels inside every grade. A run of right answers brings slightly harder questions (the top level stretches into the next grade); a couple of misses gently eases back. Answers are checked on our server, and parents can lock a level.

How Kidorizon works

Kids already use AI tools for answers. Kidorizon helps them practice the skill that matters next: checking what they're told, with activities for every grade from Pre-K to Grade 12.

  1. Step 1: A daily 5-minute activity

One short, screen-friendly challenge a day, matched to your grade band from Pre-K to Grade 12. Small enough to fit between snack and homework, steady enough to become a habit.

  2. Step 2: Catch the AI

Kids read an AI-style answer that hides one subtle mistake, then hunt it down and learn why it was wrong. Mistakes become a game, not a worry.

  3. Step 3: Think First, Then Check

A simple routine for any answer, from a chatbot, a video, or a friend: pause, form your own guess, then check it with a trusted source.

  4. Step 4: A parent progress view

See what your child practiced and how it's going, in plain language, with practice progress you can talk about together at dinner.

Questions parents ask

How does adaptive difficulty work?

Each child has a difficulty level from 1 to 5 inside their grade for every Brain Game and Reasoning practice area. Level 3 is their grade. After a run of right answers the next questions get a little harder (level 5 stretches into the next grade), and after a couple of misses they gently ease back. Answers are checked on our server, so the level reflects real work. Kids can tap “Try harder ones” any time, and parents can switch a child to a fixed level instead. Guest play adapts too, but only for that browser tab.

Can each child have their own home page?

Yes. With a free parent account, each child profile (up to 3) has a nickname and a grade. When a child is picked under “Who’s playing?”, the home page becomes theirs: today’s plan at their grade, where they left off, this week’s goal and stars, and review of tricky puzzles. Progress is saved per child, and parents see it by activity and grade.

Who is Kidorizon for?

Kidorizon covers Pre-K through Grade 12 in five grade bands: Pre-K–K, Grades 1–2, Grades 3–5, Grades 6–8, and Grades 9–12. Pick your grade and the puzzles, daily challenge, and printables match it. It is for kids and the parents who want to help them think carefully about what they read, watch, and hear, including AI answers.

How do the grade bands differ?

Pre-K–K uses pictures, shapes, and counting with very short words, big buttons, and a “Read to me” button. Grades 1–2 add simple patterns and skip counting. Grades 3–5 are the original puzzles. Grades 6–8 bring in algebraic patterns, spatial thinking, and evaluating arguments. Grades 9–12 add logic, probability, and AI literacy such as spotting made-up claims, checking sources, and noticing bias. You can switch bands any time, and your pick is remembered in this browser only.

Is there really AI in the sample puzzles?

No. The “AI answers” in the puzzles are written by people to look like AI answers, each with one deliberate mistake. No chatbot talks to your child, and nothing you click is sent anywhere.

What does my child actually practice?

Eight habits, each with a free game: spotting AI mistakes, thinking first, fact-checking claims, patterns, logic grids, analogies, working memory (with no timer), and asking an AI helper good questions. Every answer comes with a short explanation. We show practice progress, not test scores or labels.

Will this raise my child's IQ, or help with gifted programs?

We don't make those claims. Kidorizon is a practice tool, not a diagnosis, an assessment, or a path to any school admission. We believe regular practice helps kids get more careful and confident with information, and that's the promise.

Is AI bad for kids?

We don't say that. AI tools can be genuinely useful, and kids will keep meeting them. We simply think the habit of questioning and checking answers is worth practicing early.

What information do you collect?

If you join the waitlist: a parent email. If a parent creates an optional account: that email, plus a nickname and grade for each child (up to 3), their adaptive difficulty levels, and which puzzles they answered and whether they were right. No real names, child emails, birthdays or photos. Guests are never saved. Our privacy page has the details, and it has not had a legal review yet.

When can I buy Kidorizon Premium, and what will it cost?

Premium checkout is coming soon, and we don't have a launch date yet. The planned price is $9.99/month or $79/year. Premium makes everything unlimited (Brain Games rounds, Reasoning sets, worksheets and more) and adds reset & reshuffle for each child. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it opens. Planned prices may change before launch.

What else is free?

Eight games in every grade band (Catch the AI, Think First, Pattern Builder, Sequence Recall, Fact or Fake, Logic Grids, Word Analogies and Ask a Better Question), a Daily Puzzle that is the same for every family each day, and printable worksheets with answer keys. All free, with no signup needed. Free play has a daily limit on some activities; Premium makes them unlimited.

Do I need an account to try the puzzles?

No. Every game, the daily puzzle and the printables work without an account, and guest play is never saved. A free parent account is optional.

What does a free parent account do?

It saves which puzzles each child answered and whether they got them right, so you can see what they've practiced on the Progress page. Sign up with your email and a password, confirm your email, then add a child with just a nickname and grade. You can have up to 3 child profiles, and you can delete any history, any profile or the whole account at any time.

Should my child sign up?

No. Accounts are for parents and guardians (18 or older). Children play through a parent's account by picking their nickname, or as a guest.
