Parents' rights and controls
Last updated: October 23, 2026
This page has not had a legal review yet. It describes what the site does today. It is not legal advice, and it is not a claim of certification or compliance with any specific law or standard.
You are in charge. Kids can play every free game as a guest, and nothing is saved. A child profile exists only if a parent creates one, gives permission, and keeps it. You can see it, change it, or delete it yourself at any time, without asking us.
1. Permission comes first
Before any child profile is saved, the parent or legal guardian must tick a permission statement (version 2026-10-23-v1). We record when it was given and the exact wording. Without it, the profile is not created. Accounts are only for adults; we don't let children sign up or give us their own email.
2. See what we have
- Your account page lists every child profile (nickname and grade band).
- Progress shows every practice result we have saved for each child: which game, which topic, right or wrong, and when.
- That is all we keep about a child. The full list is on the privacy page.
- Want a copy of everything in one file? Email privacy@kidorizon.com (this mailbox is still being set up, so messages may not arrive yet) from your account email and we will send it.
3. Delete it, any time
- Clear a child's history (keeps the profile) or remove a child (deletes the profile, its permission record and all results) from Progress.
- Delete your whole account from your account page. Your email, every child profile, every permission record and every result are deleted right away.
- Withdrawing permission works the same way: remove the child, and we stop saving anything for them immediately.
- Prefer we do it? Email privacy@kidorizon.com (this mailbox is still being set up, so messages may not arrive yet). To protect your family, we only act on requests from the account's email address.
4. Correct it
There is no edit button yet. To change a nickname or grade band, remove the profile and add a new one (this also clears that profile's history). If anything else looks wrong, contact us at the address above.
5. What we never do
- We never ask a child for an email, birthday, photo, real name, location or any typed message.
- We never sell data, show ads, or use advertising or analytics trackers.
- We never use practice results to label, rank or diagnose a child. Kidorizon is a practice tool, not a test.
- We never share a child's information with other users. There are no public profiles, chats or leaderboards.
