Checking AI answers

Strategy card

AI tools can give wrong answers that sound right.

  1. Step 1: Do the problem yourself first.
  2. Step 2: Compare your answer with the AI's.
  3. Step 3: If they differ, look for the step where they split.
  4. Step 4: Check facts in a trusted source with a grown-up.

Tip: Ask AI to show its steps; check each step.

Worked example

  • B: Both parts are opinions.
